Every donated dollar goes directly to a children’s hospital foundation in the community where the team raises it. Together, the three GingerCane metros turn a little imagination into lasting support for kids and families.
Metro means GingerCane’s charitable funding area. Surrounding communities join their regional hospital partner, including Okotoks in Metro Calgary.
Select a colour to focus the chart. Select a season’s point or bar to see the entries behind it. N/R means the amount has not been recovered; the hospital destination may still be known.
Recorded entry fundraising for each hospital partner. All amounts CAD. In 2010, a dash means that metro was outside the local Calgary campaign.
These charts group recorded entry fundraising by the team’s GingerCane funding metro. They include organizer and anonymous entries. The inaugural 2010 campaign supported the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation in Calgary; its amount has not been recovered. Earlier records are partial, and unknown amounts stay uncounted. Figures describe the fundraising history for each foundation and do not add separate sponsorship or direct gifts that are absent from the entry archive.

This collection combines the recovered archive with first-hand history confirmed by GingerCane’s co-founder, Sean Young. Named records, organizer-confirmed seasons and tenure-based recognition are identified on each person’s story. Missing records may leave gaps; team fundraising belongs to the collective effort.
Advocacy includes encouraging participation, promoting entries, recruiting support and helping the campaign reach new communities. Current organizer staff are recognized for the campaign seasons covered by their service. Estimated dates are marked, and current staff who joined after 2025 are welcomed without adding earlier seasons. Founder recognition is retained separately.

All figures are CAD. A donor is counted once per year, even when they made several gifts. Previously observed donors appear in an earlier campaign record.
Donations in the selected seasons, with each included gift counted once after duplicate checks. All amounts are in Canadian dollars.
A donor identity first appears in the recovered campaign records in that season. This may not be their first-ever gift.
For a selected range, a repeat donor has gifts in at least two different seasons within that range. Annual returning counts use earlier observed campaign years, including years before the selected range.
2010 donation-level records are not recovered. Other seasons may also be partial. Missing records remain unknown; they do not mean no one gave.
